It’s about damn time you stop feeling overworked and underpaid.

The first step to not having a to-do list that somehow manages to get longer every single time you check something off—tracking your time. Until you understand where your time is actually going, you won’t know what needs to shift to help you feel more in control of it.

This time last year I was booked, busy, and…well, busy.

Every day felt jam-packed with client work and even though I had some visibility around my project capacity and knowing when I should (or shouldn’t) start a new project, somehow I still left each week:

→ working more hours than I wanted to

→ scrambling on Friday to wrap everything up on my to-do list

→ sacrificing time to work on my own business for client work

→ and feeling like I was still overworking myself even though I had cut back my workload significantly already (or so I thought)

Not to mention that despite being booked & busy, I was still struggling to hit my income goals each month which often resulted in me continuing to overbook myself because it was either that or not afford to pay rent.

In a last-ditch effort before seriously considering the search for a 9-5, I decided to book a strategy call with my bookkeeper, Abby.

^ said strategy call, June 2025

And that’s when everything shifted.

On our call, we talked about how many hours each of my services were taking me, what my capacity was for each service per month, and determined what my business’ income goal was based on my current personal expenses.

One thing became very clear: I was underpricing my services & offering payment plans at a rate that no one was actually asking for, but made me feel like I was keeping things “accessible”,

As a result, I was putting myself in a situation where I had to choose between:

A) Not overworking myself, but not making enough money to pay the bills

or B) Overworking myself so that I could make enough money

I don’t know about you, but neither of those options was what I actually wanted (nor were they advisable by my bookkeeper).

Instead, we worked together to crunch the numbers and understand what price point would actually result in a livable income level for myself, without feeling overworked, and while still keeping in mind “industry norms” aka what someone would expect to pay for my type of services.

This immediately felt like a huge weight off of my shoulders. I finally had this plan in front of me—one that actually felt doable—that was going to allow me to stop stressing about not making enough money each month and allow me to stop overbooking myself.

Except…it only partly worked.

Not because of Abby, but because of ME. Because at that time, I didn’t actually have a clear picture of:

→ how many hours of work per week felt good for me

→ how many hours I needed / wanted for things outside of client work (like admin, marketing, developing new offers, etc.)

→ how many hours per week of work I was putting on my schedule

And that’s when it finally clicked:

Knowing how many hours each service took me was only part of the equation.

What I also needed was a better understanding of how much work actually felt good to me and what sort of balance I wanted to strike between client work and work for my business.

That’s why we’re starting with actually tracking and understanding your time before talking about pricing.

Hiii, I’m Fran and this is my bookkeeper, Abby!

After my strategy session with Abby opened my eyes to how much better pricing your services can feel when you’re not just…choosing a random number, I haven’t stopped talking about it since.

And the more I got into time-tracking and the more I saw how inter-connected these two topics were, the more I thought to myself “I think someone needs to be talking about this”.

So when I saw that Abby was working on a pricing calculation tool, naturally I emailed her at 8pm and pitched the idea of doing a joint masterclass. Thankfully, she was also on board, and that’s how we got here!

We’re so excited to help you learn how to use your time data to price your offers in a way that allow you to build wealth on your own terms: however that looks to you!
